We’re launching VSC Text Alerts to help collectors stay on top of upcoming breaks they have joined or may want to follow.
At Vaulted Sports Collective, we want the break experience to feel more organized, predictable, and easier to plan around. Breaks should not feel like something you have to constantly remember, manually track, or catch at the last second.
This update is part of a broader reminder system we’re building around scheduled breaks, email reminders, and SMS alerts. The goal is simple: help collectors know when a break is coming up, plan ahead, and show up when the stream goes live.
Why We’re Adding SMS Alerts
Breaks move quickly, and timing matters. A collector may join a break, plan to watch it live, and then get pulled into the rest of the day. By the time the stream starts, it is easy to miss the reminder, forget the start time, or arrive after the break is already underway.
SMS alerts give us another way to help close that gap. Text messages are designed to make upcoming break information easier to notice, especially when the start time is getting close.
How VSC Break Reminders Work
When you join an eligible scheduled VSC break, our goal is to provide reminders before the break goes live.
Customers may receive email reminders leading up to the scheduled start time, including a reminder around 24 hours before the break and another closer to the stream.
For customers who sign up for VSC Text Alerts, SMS may add another reminder layer for upcoming breaks and stream timing. This helps customers plan ahead, find the stream, and be ready when the break begins.
Built Around Scheduled Breaks
This feature works best with the direction we are building toward: scheduled breaks that customers can review ahead of time, plan around, and join before the stream starts.
Instead of relying only on social posts, live notifications, or checking the site at the right moment, VSC Text Alerts are meant to support a more structured break experience.
As we continue improving the platform, reminders and alerts will help make breaks easier to follow from purchase through live stream.
